This unit provides pre-service teachers with opportunities to explore the role of science as the centre of an integrated approach to teaching in junior primary years. Students will create and evaluate learning experiences for children that incorporate science, mathematics, English and other relevant learning areas. Students also explore and appraise commercially-produced science teaching resources for use in the classroom.
Must pass 1 unit from SCE3240 or SCE3260 or SCE2240
