Description

This unit will develop an understanding of the managerial and legal requirements for managing a facility. Security and facility managers are required to be able to participate in the tender process; manage and develop contracts; manage human sources, including OH understand risk beyond security risk management; and be able to function as a manager. This unit introduces students to areas of general management within a security and facility management context.

  6. Explain the various options for managing contracts disputes.
  7. Understand Occupational Safety and Health as it applies to managing a facility.
