Description

Students will collect, analyse and report research findings in the form of a thesis that will be submitted for examination.

Prerequisite Rule

Students must pass 1 units from SWK5124

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this unit students should be able to:

  1. Analyse research data in a systematic way.
  2. Demonstrate an ability to prepare a comprehensive report research in the form of an academic thesis.
  3. Demonstrate an ability to present research findings within a theoretical framework and research tradition.
  4. Evaluate research findings for application to social work knowledge and practice.
  5. Execute a systematic data collection methodology using established research methods.
  6. Write a cogent and clear dissertation.

  1. Data analysis.
  2. Data collection methods and processes.
  3. The preparation and submission of the Honours thesis.

Additional Learning Experience Information

Students will implement, and prepare their thesis for submission. The study and its progress will be closely supervised by their appointed supervisor.
