In this unit students will develop critical and analytical skills by undertaking research in an area of relevance to the field of Social Work. Students will learn how to write a literature review in their chosen research area, integrate their research within an appropriate theoretical and/or methodological framework, and communicate their research to specialist and non-specialist audiences. Research projects are supervised by staff who possess research interests and experience in the relevant area.

On completion of this unit students should be able to:
