Study within the humanities aims to create an understanding of what it means to be human in today's society by developing an awareness of culture, society and personal identity. In this unit students are introduced to key concepts within the humanities through examination of a range of topics, such as the media, politics, ethics, language and Australian history. This introductory unit provides a framework for students proceeding to undergraduate courses which include studies in the humanities.
UPU0004 utilises both face-to-face and electronic delivery of materials, activities and assessments.
