Description

Historically, drawing is a method of inquiry within art and science that has been employed to translate observations, concepts and ideas into a tangible, communicable form. Drawing is trans-disciplinary in nature and an essential process within most creative endeavors. In this advanced unit, students will be challenged to expand their understanding of what drawing can be through experimentation, employing the processes of a discipline or disciplines of their choice such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, glass, filmmaking, photography and more. The student will develop and document their project. Self-directed research, lectures, workshops and group discussions will lead to the realisation of the project.
