This unit concentrates on the development of a self-initiated project through thorough research into ideas, processes, materials, and outcomes. It seeks to develop advanced skills in project planning and management. The objective is to develop a substantial project that addresses relevant historical and theoretical issues, as well as the provision for multiple options in realization and outcomes.

Students may choose to adopt an interdisciplinary approach across various studios, or specialise in a medium that they wish to pursue further. The objective is to develop a substantial project that addresses relevant historical and theoretical issues, as well as the provision for multiple options in realization and outcomes.
