Nutrition Major

Effective from 01-JAN-2017 : Code MAAAFK

This major provides the student with foundational knowledge so that they can work in the community in health promotional roles. Students who wish to be eligible for entry to postgraduate courses in Nutrition and Dietetics, or who wish to work as a Community Nutritionist, should include - as well as the Nutrition major units - supporting units in biochemistry and human physiology. These additional supporting science units should be selected in consultation with the coordinator of Nutrition.
