Screen Production Major

Effective from 01-JAN-2024 : Code MAAAJV

Students will produce creative and engaging content for the screen in ECU’s Screen Production major. They will collaborate with WAAPA screen actors, dancers and composers in learning new skills in concept development and scriptwriting, production management and directing, camera and editing while working collaboratively in small groups on diverse projects including drama, factuals, music video and screen installations. Utilise our state-of-the-art TV studio and training facilities to forge vocational skills and make creative partnerships to last a lifetime. Students excelling in the Screen Production major have the opportunity to apply for postgraduate studies in the School or entry to the prestigious Master of Screen Studies at the WA Screen Academy. Applicants to the Screen Production major who do not meet the standard course entry requirements can be considered through the Creative Arts Portfolio Entry pathway as per https://www.ecu.edu.au/future-students/course-entry/creative-arts-portfolio-entry
