This major provides students with a core set of relevant technical skills that will enable them to practice at the engineering technologist grade in the electronics and/or computer systems engineering fields. When students graduate from this unit set, they are expected to have gained an understanding of broad electrical technology, instrumentation, analog and digital electronics, data communication and networks, microprocessors and embedded systems, and general engineering concepts, which will enable them to contribute to solving problems faced within the relevant engineering industry.
