The major is designed for students with an interest in aquatic environments. Students study biological and physical processes that occur in both marine and freshwater systems, and develop skills to enable them to contribute to management and understanding of water-based ecosystems. There is an emphasis on the continuity of these environments across the transition from fresh water to estuarine and marine systems.
This unit set information may be updated and amended immediately prior to semester. To ensure you have the correct outline, please check it again at the beginning of semester. In particular please check the unit and unit set offerings, as these differ according to course delivery location.
