Electronics and Communications engineering combines the fundamental engineering disciplines of electronic systems and communication systems to provide students with skills in all aspects of analog and digital circuit design, and communications systems development. The major concentrates on the engineering principles required to analyse and solve problems related to the design and implementation of electronic and communication systems. Students gain in-depth knowledge of fundamental physical sciences, electronic circuits and systems, digital signal processing, power electronics, fibre optic and microwave communications, computer networking, and cellular and wireless networks.
This unit set information may be updated and amended immediately prior to semester. To ensure you have the correct outline, please check it again at the beginning of semester. In particular please check the unit and unit set offerings, as these differ according to course delivery location.
