This major focuses on utilising the whole community approach in shaping sustainable communities. Students develop an understanding of people and their relationships with their communities, strategies to support people and communities to work together to meet common goals, and skills in building communities to be environments where people want to work and live. Students will be able to apply the knowledge necessary to support people to remain engaged with their community, build social capital, mobilise resources and develop partnerships to plan sustainable and liveable environments.
