This minor provides students with a specialisation centering on the leadership, programming and management aspects of outdoor adventure recreation. In a range of outdoor settings and contexts, students will develop and apply theoretical knowledge of leadership, programming, group dynamics, natural resource management, agency policy development and legal issues in the outdoors, as well as exploring the impact of the outdoor experience on individuals and society.

Note: Students completing the Bachelor of Event, Sport and Recreation Management students should enrol in TSM2550 Visitor Management in place of SPM1102, which is completed in their core program.
