Computing Education Minor

Effective from 01-JAN-2024 : Code MIAAGS

This minor includes study in computer programming, authoring World Wide Web pages, developing digital media products, and techniques for written, oral and visual communication in educational and technical settings. Units within the minor cover school curricula, computer applications, teaching strategies and the development and assessment of teaching programs.

Minor Structure

Students are required to complete 4 Content units and 2 Curriculum units. Content units educate students in the subject area and the Curriculum units explain how to teach the subject area to others. NOTE: if studying the Computing minor with Design and Technology major, enrol in GDO3100 instead of DTS3101
