English Education Minor

Effective from 01-JAN-2021 : Code MIAAGU

This minor allows students to investigate literature from diverse cultures, develop critical thinking skills by examining the connections between literature and social change, and provides an introduction to poetry and fiction in their historical contexts from the sixteenth to twenty-first centuries. Students can specialise by selecting media study (feature film, TV), traditional literary genres (poetry, prose, drama), language and writing, or literary theory units.
