This specialisation is designed for students wishing to become effective secondary mathematics teachers from Years 7 to 10. It covers school curricula, teaching strategies and the development and assessment of teaching programs. Students will be able to plan a variety of mathematics lessons, assessments and activities, with a pedagogical focus on developing an appreciation of mathematics as a useful and creatively interesting area of study.
