Social Science Education Years 7 - 10 Specialisation

This specialisation is designed for students wishing to teach Humanities and Social Science in the lower secondary school setting. Humanities and Social Science teachers must be knowledgeable in a wide range of areas including history, geography, business and civics, especially at a lower school level. The specialisation content is closely aligned to the requirements of the Australian Curriculum and the units cover school curricula, teaching strategies and the development and assessment of teaching programmes.
