This specialisation is designed for students interested in civil and environmental engineering. The Master of Engineering (Civil and Environmental) provides graduates with strong competencies in both civil and environmental engineering content areas including concrete and steel design, construction technology and site management, environmental risk assessment and management. This enables graduates to gain a strong knowledge in environmental and humanitarian engineering aspects when working on civil engineering projects. The Civil and Environmental program focuses on the development of knowledge and skills relevant to professional engineering practice and along with a sound theoretical base, includes strong elements of practical problem solving, teamwork and project development. As a result, as well as having multiple technical and transferable skill competencies, graduates will gain strong analytical skills and have the ability to lead complex projects.
This unit set information may be updated and amended immediately prior to semester. To ensure you have the correct outline, please check it again at the beginning of semester. In particular please check the unit and unit set offerings, as these differ according to course delivery location.
