This specialisation is designed to address market needs for professional information services staff with a teacher librarianship focus, and associated enterprise information and knowledge management capabilities. Students completing this specialisation may be eligible for Associate (Librarian) level membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).

All students are required to have a three-year Bachelor of Arts (Education) teaching qualification, with equivalents considered, and all entrants must provide evidence of at least twelve months satisfactory full-time (or part-time equivalent) school teaching experience.
