Jazz Vet Specialisation

Effective from 01-JAN-2015 : Code VSAAAG

This specialisation is structured to prepare students for real life performance and improvisation through an authentic learning environment with an emphasis on traditional approaches. Students develop their skills through ensemble performance on their primary instrument, including performance of arrangements, improvisation skills within a performance environment, music wellness, rehearsal management, music notation software, as well as learn a second instrument. During their study students have access to visiting jazz artists and performances, and special access to rehearsal spaces, practice rooms.
