Edith Cowan University (ECU) is partnering with world leading research organisation Fraunhofer IAO to offer an interactive two-day program that delves into the trends, strategies, methods, and tools driving successful research and development (R&D).

"Innovation is a contact sport," ECU School of Engineering Executive Dean Professor Paulo de Souza said.

"This course is a great opportunity for people to think strategically on how to take innovation to transform your industry."

The courses commence in February at ECU Joondalup and ECU South West campuses.

They will offer immersive hands-on workshops, engaging in practical, interactive sessions led by industry experts to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Participants will also have access to seasoned professionals with extensive experience in R&D leadership, as well as networking opportunities.

"The benefits of attending this course are the hands-on experiences and interacting with those in the room – and that is invaluable," Professor de Souza said.

"Don't expect to just be seated and listening – you will be working with others and be creative about how you can innovate your business.

"This course is an opportunity to have someone else discuss with you your ideas with regards to innovation and it could be the key to your success."
