A day in the uni life of Brodie the aspiring midwife

Becoming a midwife has been a long-time passion for Brodie Hibberd. Now she's on her way with ECU's unique double dose of nursing and midwifery degrees.

Brodie's loving student life at Joondalup Campus where she starts the day with a must-have morning smoothie.

Every day is a busy one too, but she manages to juggle full-time study with being a disability support worker and having a life away from both.

Brodie's first birth experience happened on a 2-week prac placement at Fiona Stanley Hospital. It was a wow moment for her - and that was in her first semester of study!
