Graduate Certificate in Scripted Screen Production

Effective from 01-JAN-2025 : Code L00

Screen stories are a powerful mode of storytelling that combine moving images, sound, music, lighting, editing and effects to create deeply emotive and transformative experiences for audiences. In an age where we can take our screens wherever we go, and access screen stories wherever we want, the demand for people who can thoughtfully produce high quality, ethical works for screen in a range of formats is greater than ever before. This Graduate Certificate course introduces students to the variety of production roles in the scripted sector of the screen industries and provides practical opportunities to apply production skills learned on a professional screen production set. Students will take on roles during the pre-production, production and post-productions stages of the project, and learn the tasks, responsibilities and collaboration skills involved in creating industry-standard scripted screen productions. The Graduate Certificate in Scripted Screen Production will equip graduates with the knowledge and skills they need to gain employment in a variety of roles in the screen production sector.
