This course equips students with skills for the courtroom and beyond, providing greater scope and options for a rewarding career in the legal, corporate, commercial and social justice fields.

Work Experience Option

Students have the opportunity to gain practical experience at the on-campus Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre and through the Criminal Justice Review Project (Innocence Project).

Registration

Students will need to graduate to be eligible to register with the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia (LPBWA). Registration with the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia (LPBWA) is required to practice in the profession.

Honours

Students with not more than 8 units of study left to complete and who have achieved a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 per cent or higher may be eligible to graduate with Honours. Eligible students must complete the following unit in lieu of two Law elective units.

* Students will be assessed to see if they have achieved the ECU minimum standard of English language proficiency in this unit. Students who don't meet the minimum standard will be provided with appropriate English language support and development.
