This double major is designed for students seeking a degree in psychology and a qualification to work as a qualified child and family services practitioner within the public, private and community sectors.

This double major contains two Professional Practice placements. The first one is undertaken in the first year of study, while the second is a year-long practicum unit in the third year of study.
Students are required to provide evidence of a valid Working With Children Check.
Practical Placement requirements are determined by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority.
Students who fail the placements are required to re-enrol, as successful completion is required to complete the course.
