Design and Technology Education Major

This major prepares students to take on the challenges of teaching a range of Design and Technology subjects across Years 7 to 12. The major provides a strong theoretical foundation for the study and practice of design and technology across a variety of media and technologies. The focus of the study will be on the design process, including practical manipulation of materials and systems designs within the context of contemporary technologies.
