Psychology Minor

This minor provides students with knowledge and understanding in principle areas of interpersonal, as well as social dynamics. Students are introduced to the field of psychology broadly and are facilitated to learn specific areas in more depth. These include social psychology, psychology in groups, community dynamics and the workplace, cross-cultural psychology, and psychological consultation in the context of human systems. These areas together allow students to understand the role of culture in human psychology and the influence of the social context on individuals; develop skills required for effective group management and consultations; and knowledge of potential career pathways following completion of their undergraduate degrees.
