Science Specialisation

Effective from 01-JAN-2019 : Code SPAAQC

This specialisation builds on core units studied in the Bachelor of Education (Primary) course and explores the role of the Science learning area as the centre of an integrated teaching approach. While developing capacity to provide leadership in Science teaching, students will plan, facilitate, and evaluate children's use of scientific knowledge and inquiry skills. Students will also have the opportunity to develop an inquiry project focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in primary schools.
