Classical VET Stream

Effective from 01-JAN-2025 : Code VSAACF

In the Classical performance stream students develop their skills through principal study lessons, performance workshops, ensembles, aural development, theory, music technology, history and performance practice. During their study students have access to instrumental and vocal workshops and performances, and also have access to WAAPA's rehearsal spaces and practice rooms. Students learn in a multi-disciplinary academy and have access to hundreds of outstanding performances across all art forms over the course of the year. Classical performance is designed for students wishing to develop their instrumental, and/or vocal performance skills.

Special Admission Requirements

All applicants are required to attend an audition. In addition, all applicants are normally expected to be turning at least 17 by 30th June in the year of commencing the course.
