This course provides music students with an introduction to research whilst focusing on advanced practical skills. It prepares students for entry into the music profession or provides a stepping stone to further postgraduate studies in music. The course can be completed in any one of four areas of specialisation: classical performance, jazz, contemporary music, or composition/music technology. The strength of the program is in its interdisciplinary nature and its flexibility to suit individual student needs. The course is supported by a large staff of educators and scholar/performers whose expertise spans the entire music industry.
