This course is of value to those who work in an aeromedical retrieval service or who seek greater understanding of aeromedical retrieval. This includes doctors, nurses, paramedics and others with an interest in aeromedical retrieval. The course provides education and training relevant to aeromedical retrieval services, retrieval medicine and aviation medicine. The course includes patient retrieval via both fixed wing and rotary wing (helicopter) aircraft and aeromedical retrieval services responsible for large geographical areas, offshore platforms (oil, gas and shipping) and inaccessible terrain (mountainous, heavily forested, coastal cliff).

All applicants are required to have a Bachelor degree in a relevant field and provide their resume detailing educational qualifications and experience relevant to aeromedical retrieval medicine, and provide evidence from current employer within the aeromedical retrieval industry.
