Master of Project Management

Project Management is becoming a core activity in all organisations and increasingly vital to delivery of the corporate strategy. ECU's Master of Project Management is offered within the Faculty of Business and Law, so the course has a strong business focus. It is a skill that can be applied in almost any industry and across a range of projects, including: developing a new product or service; effecting a change in structure, staffing, or style of an organisation; developing or acquiring a new or modified information system; constructing a building or facility; organising an entertainment event; running a campaign for political office; and implementing a new business procedure or process.

Students can apply for membership with Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM).

Admission requirements

  • Into a 120 credit point Masters Degree, a Bachelor Honours degree in the same discipline; or
  • Into a 180 credit point Masters Degree, a Bachelor degree in the same discipline; or
  • Into a 180 credit point Masters Degree, a Bachelor Honours degree; or
  • Into a 240 credit point Masters Degree, a Bachelor degree; or
  • Where accepted, equivalent prior learning, including at least five years appropriate professional experience.

Course Specific Admission Requirements

All applicants are required to have a Bachelor degree in a discipline other than Project Management, with equivalents considered. Alternatively applicants can have a Graduate Certificate in a relevant discipline.
