This specialisation provides students with the skills and knowledge required for a career in senior hospitality management. There is a strong global demand for university graduates with leadership, analytical and practical skills for managerial positions in the hospitality sector. This specialisation equips students with the skills, theory and knowledge, to function as business professionals and industry leaders in contemporary hospitality organisations and venues, as well as for managing their own hospitality business. It focuses on the management of hospitality enterprises, and the business events sector, with a particular emphasis on the management of people (staff and customer contexts), marketing, and current operational and strategic issues impacting the sector.
