Arts Specialisation

This specialisation provides an opportunity for students to develop skills and pedagogical strategies in the general arts. Students will build on the practical arts knowledge gained in the core arts units and develop further understandings and skills in drama, music and visual arts. The Arts form an important and integral part of primary education and participation in the Arts fosters safe, creative, motivating and inclusive learning environments. Particular focus is given to developing additional depth of understanding of expert content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge and highly effective classroom teaching in The Arts.
