Professor Braden Hill
At Edith Cowan University (ECU), we are proud of being an institution that is inclusive, celebrates diversity and understands the important role that universities play in enriching lives and transforming society for the better. Since our establishment, we have been a university that champions equal opportunity and equal outcomes for all through our teaching and learning, student experience, research endeavours and engagement with our communities both local and further afield.
We take a whole of university approach to the work we do on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and understand that in order to ensure our students are world ready, our university must respect and reflect the realities of the complex world we live in.
We see this as integral to our future as a university and are excited about leading the discussion on equity, diversity and inclusion across the higher education sector
Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students, Equity and Indigenous) Professor Braden Hill
We would like to acknowledge and pay respect to the Noongar people, the traditional custodians of the land upon which ECU's campuses stand and programs operate.
