Call for Expressions of Interest: Respect at ECU Advisory Group

ECU is seeking staff and students to join the Respect at ECU Advisory Group. This group is pivotal in finalising the draft Gender-based Violence Prevention and Response Plan and then guiding the implementation of the Plan within the University.

About the Respect at ECU Advisory Group

  • The Advisory Group is responsible for the oversight and guidance of the Gender-based Violence Prevention and Response Plan at ECU.
  • Members will assess the University’s progress and publicly report on the implementation of the Plan.
  • Members will also advise on strategies relating to gender-based violence and respect on campus.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Are dedicated to fostering a safe and respectful environment at ECU.
  • Have an interest or expertise in gender-based violence prevention and response.
  • Possess strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Are willing to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve the Plan's goals.

Being a member of the Respect at ECU Advisory Group will require a small-time commitment – the group will meet at least once a quarter and may be convened more often if needed.
