Mr Scott Henderson.
Mr Scott Henderson joined Edith Cowan University (ECU) in February 2012 as Vice-President (Corporate Services). His key accountabilities include value-for-money and efficiency strategies, finance and business growth and development. He is the accountable executive for ECU’s University of the Future Program incorporating the new City Campus Project.
Mr Henderson is currently a director of ECU Holdings Pty Ltd and VenuesWest.
Prior to joining ECU, Mr Henderson was Chief Executive Officer of Netball WA and West Coast Fever. His previous roles included Chief Executive Officer of Harvey Beef and Chief Executive Officer of Skywest Airlines. In the late 1990s he was State Manager for United Airlines in Victoria, before being appointed Manager International Strategic Planning for United Airlines in Chicago. Mr Henderson was a commissioned officer in the Royal Australian Navy for more than a decade prior to embarking on a commercial career.
In addition to these diverse senior leadership roles, Mr Henderson has served on the Boards of Tourism Council WA as a director and Chairman, Skywest Ltd, Higher Education Services Pty Ltd, Edith Cowan College Pty Ltd, Willetton Senior High School and Perth Modern School.
Mr Henderson is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holds the degree of Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW and Diploma of Applied Science in Military Studies from the Royal Australian Naval College.
