Key Goals and Core Team
Business Growth and Development’s philosophy centres on enhancing current and prospective student experiences. It also provides support and guidance to Schools to develop and execute specific growth strategies, whilst ensuring they align with ECU’s set initiatives.
The directorate comprises three teams, working in partnership with each other and the wider University:
- Communications Centre: responsible for the provision of frontline lead and enquiry management, the Comms Centre is a dynamic service at the forefront of ECU’s digital interaction with current and prospective students and staff. The centre has multi-channel inbound and outbound communications capabilities, which supports a customer-focus.
- Customer Strategy and Planning: coordinates the development of the overarching ECU Customer Experience Strategy and Framework. The team also provides insights and analytics to supplement the development of strategies, and collaborates with Schools and other Service Centres on business growth plans to increase student commencements.
- Future Students: coordinates events to interact face-to-face with prospective domestic and international students across expos, campus tours, school visits, information evenings, and a host of other events. A front-facing powerhouse, their focus is rewarding and targeted engagement with prospective students and industries, in collaboration with internal stakeholders. All relationships are key to realising ECU’s full recruitment potential.
