ECU Sports Clubs

ECU will shortly be releasing its club structure in prepration for 2025. If you would like to register your interest to find out what is happening, email ecusports@ecu.edu.au 

ECU Western Invitational - Sports Networking Event

ECU hosts teams from Emergency Services and WA universities at the ECU Western Invitational. Teams will compete in volleyball, basketball, futsal, netball, football and touch, and with a full line-up of activities and games over the four days spectators are welcome to come along and support their team.

Free student sport sessions

Weekly drop-in sessions are available every week, where students can try a new sport, get fit and make friends. Sessions include pickleball, futsal, netball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis, hockey, touch, football and more!

UniSport Western Series

The rivalry between the five WA universities heats up in the UniSport Western Series. In a rolling competition that takes place over the course of the year, it’s uni vs uni  as students compete in a range of sports, including basketball, touch, netball, volleyball, badminton, ultimate, futsal, tennis, hockey and more. ECU represent ✌

Join us as we travel to various exciting locations around the country, representing ‘Team ECU’ at the UniSport Nationals. Join thousands of Australian students from 43 universities for a week of fun in September, next-level competition and mateship.

UniSport Indigenous Program

Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander students are encouraged to compete in the UniSport Indigenous Nationals competition and local WA tournaments. The tournaments provide an awesome opportunity to be involved in local and national events that celebrates the rich sporting culture of indigenous Australians.
