Mount Lawley Campus

At Mount Lawley campus, we have meeting rooms and classrooms of various sizes, ranging in capacity from 10 to 100 people with the ability to set the rooms up in different formats depending on your requirements.

Our modern, state of the art lecture theatres can accommodate 90-252 people, we have several foyer areas that can also be setup as reception, breakout and standing function areas.

Our external gazebo area is a favourite amongst students and staff alike for hosting events in our gardens and has previously been used for markets, fairs, memorial services and barbeques.

Equipment availability

We can assist you with your event and can provide a range of equipment including trestle tables, chairs,beanbags and deck chairs! We can also assist in providing signage to help people easily navigate their way to your venue upon their arrival on campus.

Audio and visual equipment

Many of our venues have integrated data projectors and microphones, which are provided as part of your hire, we can also provide additional PA systems if required for an additional charge.

Meeting rooms capable of inter campus and external video conferencing are available at all our campuses.

Outdoor facilities

Barbeque facilities and outdoor spaces are available to hire on each campus, further information is available on the relevant campus information web page.

On campus catering

There are several cafes on campus; Cafe 10, Chatterbox Cafe and Grindhouse Eatery who can provide an exciting range of different catering options for your event.

Parking

You must display a valid parking permit or a valid metered parking ticket when parking on University grounds on weekdays, between the hours of 7.00 am and 5.00 pm. All parking areas and bays are clearly marked.

Security

Your personal safety and security is our priority. That’s why we have a dedicated team of professional, highly trained security officers, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist and protect our students, visitors and staff.

If for any reason you are concerned for your personal safety while on campus, contact our security officers immediately on 6304 3333 or alternatively call from one of the security phones situated around campus.

Events involving alcohol

If you're event involves serving alcohol, whether for sale or consumption, you will need to ensure compliance with our Alcohol and other Drugs Management Policy. You may also be required to provide a copy of your occasional liquor license.

Public events

If you are organising a community event such as a funfair or festival, or any event involving food vans or loud music, you may need local council approval from City of Stirling as part of our venue hire process.

ECU owned land and buildings are a smoke-free environment and smoking is not permitted anywhere on any campus.

All applications to ECU for Venue Hire are subject to approval and compliance with ECU’s Terms and Conditions. The Campus Support Office reserves the right to decline your application at any time.
