ECU aspires to become a leader in international student education and to be recognised for our international enterprise. Inbound students experience study and life in Australia and simultaneously enrich the classroom with cultural diversity. Concurrently, domestic students who are unable to undertake an Outbound Learning Abroad experience benefit by gaining insight into how other countries, peoples and cultures operate.
Inbound Learning Abroad opportunities at ECU consist of Student Exchange, Study Tours and Study Abroad. Click on the links below for further information.
Works on a reciprocal basis and must be supported by an official Student Exchange Agreement outlining the terms, conditions and details of the Student Exchange Program. Students participating in an inbound Student Exchange Program continue to be enrolled at, and pay their tuition fees to, their Home Institution.
A short-term program, typically 1-2 weeks, that involves customised English, academic and cultural activities.
Where a student’s home university does not have an official exchange agreement with ECU or is unable to offer the student an exchange place at ECU, students can apply to study at ECU as a study abroad student.
These semester length programs are designed for cohorts of students. Customised Programs can be developed for larger scale institution to institution partnerships.
The Buddy Ambassador Program supports our inbound Tailored programs to welcome these students to Perth and ECU.
As a Buddy Ambassador you will join free on campus and off campus events, make new friends, develop your teamwork and communication skills and have heaps of fun along the way!
We are always on the look out for our next Buddy superstars and students can express interest at anytime by contacting inboundstudyabroad@ecu.edu.au. You won't want to miss this opportunity!
