Sri Lanka Campus

Edith Cowan University (ECU) Sri Lanka is located in Sri Lanka's capital city, Colombo.

The Library in WA provides online support and information services for enrolled students.

You'll find an up to date collection of online textbooks related to your courses as well as access to a large collection of online resources. Online support contributes to the creation of a supportive learning environment at ECU Sri Lanka. For face to face support, please contact staff at the ECU Sri Lanka campus in Colombo.

The Library team maintains a wide range of online resources designed to support you in your studies. The resources relate to:

  • accessing the online collections
  • finding and evaluating information
  • using technology to learn and communicate

ECU Library search

Search for eBooks, journal articles and other resources online.  Start by typing your query into the search bar using keywords, titles or authors to explore the Library’s collection of items.

Using eBooks

ECU Library has a large collection of eBooks that can be accessed online at any time, and can be downloaded for later offline viewing.

Databases

For accessing more subject-specific information sources, such as journals and eBooks, go directly to the database through the A-Z database list.

You can search content across many areas of study, and choose to search alphabetically or by subject type.

Referencing

Referencing is a standardised way to give credit to the source of your ideas in your work.

This is an essential part of academic integrity, and you will be required to reference in most of your assignments throughout your degree, including oral reports and presentations. Watch our Introduction to References video to learn more.

You can register to attend an online workshop at the start of each semester, or watch a pre-recorded video workshop on demand, at the Library Essentials Library Guide.

Download software

A range of free software, including EndNote and NVivo is available for download. SPSS is available for staff download.

Log into the Software Download Service with your ECU email credentials to gain access. You will be required to register as a first time user.

Research online

Research Online is a digital repository of research outputs produced by staff and postgraduate students of Edith Cowan University.
