Study Essentials - online guides

‘Study Essentials’ is a series of four online guides that introduce you to:

  • using the Library
  • assignments at ECU
  • technology used for classes and assignments at ECU

Take some time to explore the Study Essentials Guides – they will answer questions you never knew you had!

If you start using these guides early, you will quickly learn a lot of what you need to know to succeed in your studies at ECU.

Library Peer Assistants

Connect with a human!

This peer service is offered on campus at each Library, and online - through both virtual chat and phone.

Library Peer Assistants provide:

  • general Library support and advice; for example, they can help you with online searching
  • support for using the technology used in classes and for collaborating at ECU - such as Canvas, Panopto, PebblePad, Turnitin and Microsoft Teams

As the name suggests, the assistants are also students at ECU!
