Get settled in; explore a range of study booths and group study spaces.

There're computers, power and wi-fi, collaborative screens and kitchen facilities available. And, you’ll find big windows, thousands of academic resources and friendly staff.

Campus Libraries are more than study spaces

You’ve probably realised that ECU is a university that offers a lot of support. In fact we’re known for it.

As a central part of uni life, your Campus Library is a hub for study support. It’s a place to easily access lots of services.

To find out what’s available, scrolling through the Library website is a really good place to start.

Library Collections

Library Collections are made up of academic research content - in the form of books, eBooks, journals and research papers, as well as specialist items such as the Law Collection and loan laptops.

The Library maintains access for staff and students to a huge range of databases that hold global research, including very recent and ground-breaking research.

Database content is largely digital – so it’s accessible remotely. You can learn about using eBooks with the resources on our Using eBooks web page.

And - a lot of our services are offered online as well.

Workshops and appointments

It’s hard to describe how valuable attending a Library workshop could be for you.

You might learn one or two valuable referencing skills that you use for every future assignment.

Or, you might discover a major research database relating to your study discipline that becomes a source of quality content for your assignments.

Searching, referencing and collaborating digitally are skills that will help you immensely as you work your way through your units.

During semester, workshops are offered from week 1-6. Most are offered online and on campus. Alternatively, you can watch a recording.
