Student feedback Q2 2024

22 students took time to complete our feedback form from April-June.

And once again we’ve been happy to see positive feedback come through to us.

Our team are passionate about providing a high-level service to our patrons, and we’re continually innovating to best serve our students.

Recent innovations across our Campus Libraries have included:

  • Upgraded Library equipment, which has increased access to physical resources.
  • Our digital collections continue to be refined based on data-driven insights, ensuring content is highly relevant to ECU disciplines.
  • Technical upgrades have improved user experience with Reading Lists and Library search systems.
  • And of course over the past few years we have completely revamped the Joondalup Campus Library Levels 1-3.
  • Our peer support service continues to grow, now available online, by phone and in person.
  • Our Library Technicians are consistently upskilling and our Librarian team are busily ensuring GenAI competency is developed in our students.

Of the recent responses, 76% reported being very satisfied with Library services.

Students are loving:

  • new stand-up desks and computer stations with dual monitors
  • fast responses to enquiries
  • our quote bowl – which has been a staple at the Library for many years!
  • direct answers to queries
  • research skills information and tips
  • support finding research articles
  • flexible customer service
