The ECU Library is proud to support Respect at Uni Week, a national campaign promoting respect, inclusivity, and student safety. Running from 7–11 April 2025, this initiative focuses on critical issues such as gender-based violence, healthy relationships, and online safety.
Throughout the week, activities will take place in ECU Libraries across all three campuses, offering students and staff opportunities to engage, learn, and contribute to a culture of respect.
The large RESPECT letters will be on display at both Joondalup and Mount Lawley Libraries. Students are invited to contribute to the conversation by sharing their thoughts on ‘What does respect mean to you?’ using post-it notes provided.
Respect at Uni Week encourages everyone to reflect on how we can create safe, respectful environments and prevent violence and harassment within our university and community.
People and Culture welcomes ECU staff to a special networking opportunity over morning tea, where you can connect with colleagues from People and Culture, Access and Equity, Kurongkurl Katitjin, Athena Swan, and staff networks.
Respect-themed resources will be available on the day.
