Opening hours

All campus libraries will be closed from Friday 18 April to Monday 21 April for the Easter long weekend. It will also be closed on Friday 25 April for ANZAC Day.

Campus Libraries are open 7 days a week during the semester. Detailed opening hours are listed below.

  • Joondalup Campus remains open 24/7 with ECU swipe card access to Library Lower Level 1 and Level 2.
  • Staff and students have access to online collections even when the Library is closed.

Joondalup

Semester hours

  • Library Lower Level 1 and Level 2 open 24/7 (swipe card access)
  • Full access to Library Levels 1-3 during staffed hours:
    • Monday to Friday - 8:00am-8:00pm
    • Saturday and Sunday - 10:00am-5:00pm

Mount Lawley

Semester hours

  • Full access to Levels 1-4 during staffed hours:
    • Monday to Friday - 8:00am-10:00pm
    • Saturday and Sunday - 10:00am-5:00pm

South West

Semester hours

  • Full access to Level 1 during staffed hours:
    • Monday to Thursday - 8:30am-8:00pm
    • Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
    • Saturday and Sunday - 10:00am - 5:00pm

Additional access information

After-hours access:

  • ECU staff and students have 24/7 access to Joondalup Campus Library Lower Level 1 and Level 2 using swipe card entry.
    • This provides access to study spaces, computers, wi-fi, student kitchen and a self-help touch screen.

Access information:

  • Access to Mount Lawley and South West Campus Libraries is available during staffed hours only.
  • Access to High Use Collections is available during staffed hours only.
  • Access to the Learning and Career Hub (Joondalup) is available 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday only.

Our staffed hours during semester, commencing 24 February 2025, are:

  • Monday to Friday - 8:00am-8:00pm (Joondalup)
  • Monday to Friday - 8:00am-10:00pm (Mount Lawley)
  • Monday to Thursday - 8:30am-8:00pm; Friday - 8:30am-5:00pm (South West)
  • Saturday and Sunday - 10:00am-5:00pm (All campuses)
