Services and facilities

Our Libraries provide a range of services and facilities for students and staff.

These include use of computers, access to the internet, meeting rooms for group study and quiet study areas to work privately.

We can also assist academic staff with making course reading materials available for students, in either print or electronic formats.

Collections

Our Library acquires and subscribes to a range of online and print resources in support of the teaching, learning and research programmes of ECU.

The collections include an A-Z list of databases, which which you can search by subject, database type or vendor.

Learning and Career Hub

The Learning and Career Hub sits within the Joondalup Library on level 2.

Print, copy, scan

How to print, copy and scan at the Library, where facilities are located, and costs.

Computers, loan laptops and dongles

Use the e-Labs and computer areas to access Library resources, search the internet and work on assignments. Also learn about our loan laptop service.

Peer support with learning technologies

Experienced current students can assist you with learning technologies such as Canvas, PebblePad, Turnitin, Microsoft Office suite e.g. Word, Excel.

Library Workshops

We offer a range of workshops and events to help you to reach your study and research goals.

Document delivery

Staff, postgraduates, and off-campus students may use document delivery to request books and articles not held by ECU library. Off-campus students may use this service to request that we post books or articles from ECU Library.

Off-campus students

Information on access to online resources for off-campus students, and how to request a book chapter.

Accessible services

Services available at the Library for people needing special assistance.

Archives

Archival services support the collection, preservation and access to the recorded memory of ECU and our predecessor agencies.
