Students as Partners Framework

The Students as Partners (SaP) Framework at ECU Library is designed to create a collaborative environment where students and Library staff work together to enhance Library services, resources, and spaces.

This framework outlines a comprehensive approach to partnership, emphasising reciprocal and equal contributions from both students and staff. It follows models of student-staff partnerships including consulting, mentoring, co-creating, and co-leading, ensuring an inclusive and ethical approach to collaboration.

The Library will implement this framework by:

  • increasing student employment opportunities
  • incorporating student feedback in Library governance
  • developing collaborative projects that involve students in various aspects of Library operations
